On September 29th, Providence Service Corporation announced it was purchasing Simplura Health Group for $575m. According to the press release, Simplura generated revenue and EBITDA of $463.1m and $49.6m in the LTM, respectively, representing nosebleed multiples of 1.2x revenue and 11.6x EBITDA.
The EBITDA multiple is toward the high end of the multiples reported in our database, even for a large platform.
